Step 2: Safely Remove Your Radial Arm Saw Power Cord

After confirming your Craftsman Radial Arm Saw is part of the recall, the following steps Must be taken to receive the $50.00 recall check.

WARNING : TO AVOID ELECTRICAL SHOCK, UNPLUG POWER CORD FROM POWER SOURCE. BE SURE TO ALSO CUT THE PLUG OFF OF THE END OF THE POWER CORD TO AVOID THE ACCIDENTAL PLUGGING IN OF THE DISABLED SAW BEFORE IT IS DISPOSED OF.

The customer Must unplug saw. Then cut the power cord at two locations: Flush against the motor and flush against the yoke, as shown. Do not leave more than ¼” of cord projecting from the motor or the yoke.
